Contract Disputes
It is an unfortunate fact of business life that disputes arise from time to time with customers, suppliers and a variety of other third party contractors. Sadly, internal disputes with co-directors, co-shareholders, partners and staff can also arise. All commercial disputes are disruptive to the mechanics of day to day business and, it follows, detrimental to profitability. Our aim at Lennon & Co is to minimise the burden of dispute falling upon our clients.
Our commercial litigation team can provide you with prompt advice at the outset, aimed at early resolution wherever possible. We understand the realities of business life as well as the law which governs it. We try and use this business knowledge in conjunction with our legal expertise to bring disputes to a satisfactory conclusion in a cost effective and proportionate manner. If disputed issues cannot be resolved through negotiation, our clients can be assured that we will act swiftly and vigorously to protect their interests through the courts.
Lennon & Co's commercial litigation team has an admirable reputation, which continues to grow within the Buckinghamshire area.
We represent public limited companies, privately owned limited companies, partnerships and individuals trading on their own account. Our clients are mainly based locally, although we have commercial clients stretching from Hong Kong in the east to Los Angeles in the west.
If you have a business dispute of any nature, however large or small, please contact our Commercial Litigation department.

Personal Injury
If you have sustained an injury at work, in a road traffic accident or in any other type of accident where blame lies elsewhere, our personal injury department may well be able to help you recover compensation provided the accident occurred during the last 3 years.
We offer free initial interviews to look at your case and to advise upon the likely success of your claim. In appropriate cases, we are happy to work under Conditional Fee Agreements (colloquially known as "no win no fee"). We have three solicitors in our personal injury team. If you think you may have a claim, please telephone Robert Green in the first instance and he will set up an initial meeting for you either at our offices or at your home if you have difficulty travelling.

Professional Negligence
Within our Commercial Litigation department we have solicitors experienced in professional negligence claims.
Our main focus is claims for medical negligence against general practitioners, private consultants and NHS Trusts. However, we have also conducted a large number of High Court and County Court claims against firms of accountants, architects, building engineers and, YES, solicitors.
Challenging the work of professionals is not an easy decision to make, not least because it is easy to assume ( indeed we want to assume) that we are in safe hands when consulting an expert. However, professionals are human and they can make mistakes. When this happens and you suffer financially as a consequence, one of our team can guide you through the Court process and make sure that you are properly compensated by professional indemnity insurers.
If you believe that you may be the victim of professional negligence, then please contact our Commercial Litigation team.

Insolvency
One very common consequence of a company's liquidation is a claim by the DTI for a director's disqualification under the Company Directors Disqualification Act 1986. If you face such a claim (or for that matter any legal claim in your capacity as company director under either the Companies Act 1985 or the Insolvency Act 1986) then we would be pleased to try and help you.
If you are facing spiraling bank debt, mortgage possession action or a claim under an old bank guarantee that you had forgotten all about our Insolvency specialists may well be able to help.
